When A Heart Stops by Lynette Eason- A Promising Read

When a Heart Stops, Lynette Eason, 978-0-8007-2008-7

Fear quieting forced breath lies watching and waiting in the shadows to materialize.

Serena Hopkins, medical examiner discovers an important missing piece. When a familiar face turns up on her examining table she and FBI agent Dominic scramble to solve important clues and locate a killer before additional homicides occur.
In a most critical moment will their joint efforts be enough or will they see danger in the shadows?

Quite a journey that promises fast paced danger from the beginning of the novel and throughout laced with romance and a building plot that will lead into the next book in the series. Pumping action from the start this book will satisfy and delight suspense fans! I do feel however that reading book one would have helped me connect better with the characters. Although this book is second in the series it does not work as a stand alone novel. Dialogue was easy to keep up with and scenery was descriptive. Overall an entertaining read for the time spent! I received a complimentary copy from Revell Publishing from this blog tour for my review.
